The Russian Orthodox Church has never had to deal with true religious freedom. Under the Tsars any more than under the Commies. They don’t handle it well.

We did get a video from the head of the Assemblies of God, which is Pentecostal, about praying for the churches undergoing persecution in Ukraine, just yesterday in church. He said that the missionaries had reported that it’s very bad for them in Ukraine. There’s quite a few of them, and even a bible college in Kiev. I suppose that’s some independent confirmation.
Btw, we have never received a message from the general council asking for prayer like this in all the years I’ve attended.
