Woodruff, S.C. - 7 On Your Side was contacted by several upset parents who say Woodruff High School students were made to take down American flags from their vehicles on September 11.
Spartanburg District 4 Superintendent Rallie Liston said four students arrived at the school Thursday morning with U.S. flags propped up on poles in their pickup truck beds.
The school's principal, Aaron Fulmer, confiscated the flags because he said it is against district policy to “draw attention” to one's vehicle.
The flags were returned to the students at the end of the day.
The students were not punished.
Fulmer tells us officials are meeting with student council next week to look into a possible policy revision.
Parents have contacted us to let us know about a protest that is being planned in response to the flag removal. It is set for Monday morning.
A post on Facebook reads, "PLEASE COME OUT MONDAY MORNING AMD STAND UP FOR OUR STUDENTS RIGHTS AND OUR RIGHTS! 7:50 a.m. Sidewalk in front of high school. Bring an American flag with you!!"
I’m guessing this school has long since given up the Pledge of Allegiance.
So no bumper stickers or raccoon tails either?
Did they have to scrape flag decals off of the windows, too?
Just say no.
Make a black Gadsden flag with either white or grey devices, they won’t recognize it for what it is.
They’ll assume at a glance that it is a modified ISIS declarative and think it is okay, wunnerful, expressive etc.
Bull puckey! Make him show you where that's written in district policy.
0bama bumper stickers = probably A-O-K.
Equality stickers = probably A-O-K.
Fancy wheel covers = probably A-O-K.
Tinted windows = probably A-O-K.
And so on.......
US American Flags = no, draws attention to vehicles.
Charge him with burglary of a vehicle.
Insanity, stop all federal funds to these schools.
So, American citizens are punishing American citizens for demonstrating their love for America, out of fear that they may offend people who are not American citizens...and who are in the country illegally.

Would be nice.
If they had to actually perform, lots of terrible teachers would be looking for other work.

Public schools are ridiculous these days.

That could happen if it were too clean and shiny or too dirty and worn out. Or any host of reasons. Maybe a burka for cars & trucks, that what the Muslims do to keep females from drawing attention.
It comes down to fear, pure fear...
We know it, they know it. The problem is that they are fearing the wrong people. They need to fear the American Citizen not the Islamists.
When the Government fears the citizen then there is freedom, when the Citizen fears the Government then there is Tyranny.

Did the school consult with parents and students before establishing this policy?
If no, then parents and students might want to inquire about other school policies that they may not have been informed about.

Would the same school remove a New York Times banner?
