It a dam phone.. in on a network.. the phone has a bootstrap loader that tells it when its first turned on .. connect to network and download the new OS!!!

All computer work this way.. you turn it on.. the cpu is hardwired to read the first instruction... that first instruction is to start read in a bigger program from some i/o device.. and that might ever call a bigger program on another i/o device...

bottom line the phone is going to gave a bootstrap loader program that will get in up to the point to get on network to download the new os.
