There’s no doubt this column will anger many of you; however, I also think each one of us must occasionally ask ourselves if our beliefs and actions are not contributing to the ultimate demise of our precious nation.
Therefore, I have compiled the following list of items that are increasingly responsible for the undermining of America’s great heritage and traditions. These items are not in any particular order. And they are by no means exhaustive.
But I must say this: If you truly believe any more than a couple of the things listed below, then you need to dare to challenge yourself. Take this opportunity to examine and rethink what you believe and why you believe it.

Actually, they think it's working out great. So long as they get free stuff and can "legally" kill babies, to them it's all good.

Evolution that God, Himself, designed.
Counting the evolution / creation debate as indicative of being a participant in America's demise is just foolish. I shall retain this author's name in my memory, so that I may readily discard his articles.
I can be blamed I guess. I don’t work hard enough so I can pay more taxes.

Are You to Blame for America’s Demise?
Only if you count my restraint in not killing any pinkos over the last 45 years.
I agree, with the following exceptions.
– Believing that the government is taking too much from you in taxes, at the same time you believe they aren’t taking enough from someone—from ANYONE—else.
To agree requires that one assume the present tax system is perfect. Some people ARE undertaxed relative to others.
– Believing that anybody has the right to restrict or deny you the legal use of your home and property.
Ahh, but what constitutes “legal right?”There’s the rub.
– Believing that all forms of illicit drug use shouldn’t be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Which drugs should be classed as “illicit” and on what basis?
– Believing that America should ever turn its back on Israel.
Never say never.
– Believing man’s origins had anything to do with evolution, instead of creation.
Some of us do not find the two mutually exclusive.
– Believing than ANY form or Socialism has EVER succeeded at improving living conditions for a community, a nation, or society at large.
The Swedes seem to have done pretty well, though arguably they would have done better without the socialism.
– Believing that matters of faith are anything but a force for good in our society.
Contradicts the claim about Islam being a danger.
Few minor quibbles about the others.
Me too, OK? But we gotta man up and admit we let this happen. We saw the '60s, so we have no excuse, really. We knew that when JFK stole Chicago, he was gutting the soul of our country.
Boiled Frogs, it took us too long to catch on.
The people who are to blame are those who vote their wallets, regardless of party affiliation. Do you vote for your guy because he brings home the jobs and pork? Then you are part of the problem.
