My statement to the “Republican” council was how I found it interesting that they would have the Pledge of Alegience before they voted to take the vote away from a majority of their citizens. It struck a nerve.

For one thing ISIL includes the word Levant which is a geographical area that includes Israel. Obama likes to use it because he can then play in his own mind a world absent Bibi and Israel (Gone! Magic! ha ha ha ha)
Obama is a sick bass turd. He decided early on that our foe in Afghanistan was AL-Q and not necessarily the Taliban, so he all the time wanted to make nice with Taly-bahn. Drove Karzai crazy. Of course Taly-bahn is an enemy. They filled stadia with killing women, anyone, mean SOBs. Full Sharia all the time. But to Bambi they are mainstream Muslim, the peaceful ones.(They’ve also been killing our troops for a decade).
He now sees IS, ISIL, ISIS as beyond the pale, but as they left the pale they also left the Muslim religion behind (according to Barack I), since Muslims are by definition “peaceful”.
He is the only “human” on the planet who believes this crap (except Kerry who is not espousing the same stuff, but who also loved the Viet Cong and Ho Chi Minh). Now Kerry loves Islam as much as Ketchup. Just like McCain who loved the so-called “moderates” in Syria who are now ISIL, ISIS, IS.

To an increasing extent you are correct. For the commenters who responded to your post, it is 1939 and we need to do something to avoid WWII. That may be true but nobody can predict history. The sad fact is that US has been decimated by an attack on society, capitalism, Christianity and decency. We are no longer able to save the world and that it how the European elite want it. We could change back to a war footing but much of our industry has been gutted.
I would however push for a US response right now because that is one of the best wedges to use against the regime. Put up the videos of innocent Christians being slaughtered by ISIS and it will get some people out of their stupor long enough to realize that Obama and all of his flunkies in the media and political establishment are not their friends. We need a fundamental change in mindset from it's ok or good enough or Im doing ok, to the West is under attack and be gone in a few short decades.
Once we have thrown our enemies out of office (to the extent that is possible), then it would be time to regroup and restrengthen for the coming battles. Yes, we will probably have to save the world yet again. But we need to do that having recovered our heavy industry and technological superiority.
