lol When my father was in Vietnam, he was in just the right location near his ‘60 gunner’, and he got a load of brass from it all down into his clothes. Even though he was being shot at, he broke cover and jumped into some water. I guess being burned like that will ‘make you do things’. He said he thought he was gonna catch on fire. LOL

Two of the things a grunt learned were, stay away from the RTO and the M-60 operator, they had a tendency to draw fire and thus shorten your life span.
