At this point in my life I find it very hard to trust in the integrity of anything run by human beings. There are exceptions, and I know that there are many people with good hearts in the world, but corruption is rampant, and there are too few who are working to ‘peel back’ the opaque film of deceit. When I compare the view I once had of America and American institutions to the view I have now, there is little overlap.
I trust the integrity of most people I know.
It is the politicians I do not trust. I consider most of them sub-humans pursuing only their self-interests and personal evils.
No incumbent will get my vote.
