We could not afford that radio when I was a kid. But when I was a kid, I wanted to be a dj, as well. I thought if people only heard the music I loved, they would love it as well.
Since we didn’t have the money, I got electronic books until I learned how to build a radio transmitter, and took apart old tvs and radios, etc, buying pieces I could not get anywhere else. I built my own transmitter.
For about 3 days, the moment I got home from school, I got on that transmitter, and played music from my old 45 record player with a built in speaker, whose speaker wiring I connected to the transmitter.
It lasted 3 days because I found out the extent of the transmission was about 50 feet...the same distance as modern day bluetooth. It discouraged me from being a dj, because my mom said it was a waste of time. But it taught me a skillset that got me into computer hardware technology, which lead me to building the first Daly Computers Pentium to be Novell Certified, which led to my job at the Pentagon, which led to me work in databases, which led me to where I am now.
Yeah, but you can’t get rid of management’s influence.

My goodness, Rush has been obssessing about both Ray Rice and the NFL all this week, with stuff such as Mr. Obama’s speech on ISIS and remembering 9/11 thrown it.

It is the same way a woman obsesses over a guy she was in love with comes out as gay.
He has to talk about it so he can move on, or hope someone will have encouraging worss, “Rush, the NFL isn’t gay. It’s just dealing with a diet too high in soy.”

Rush is boring today. So sick of all this Ray Rice crap. Heck of a lot more relevant things to be discussing besides this hysteria over the Ray Rice crap.
Really? Like Isis? Nothing good will happen there, and the repubs, led by bohnehead, will do nothing to change that, and when it goes bad, they will be blamed.
This is an issue I also have. I do not turn on conservative news radio to listen to sex talk or sports. That’s mostly what I get any more. The world is on fire but Rush is talking about golf. Prager is always talking about homosexuals. Then it’s always commercials with the stress inducing disclaimer guy speed talking at the end. News radio is under attack. I tune in believing it will be a safe zone to hear about the war and get ideas of what I might be able to do. Then I get my head dunked back into the damaging, meaningless vices that I have to fend off during the other parts of my day. Guess it’s time to grow up some more because I can’t depend on these guys any more.
You see, girls, no matter how well traveled, or educated, or liberal you think you are, you still think that men should be exactly like you. And the fact that they aren’t makes you pity them and believe that with enough bullying you can correct the mistake.
Tune into Mark Levin. He doesn’t like talking about anything but what you mentioned his talk about Rice focused on why the libtards condemn him but give BJClinton and Ted Kennedy a pass.
