A Home Office researcher whose report into child sexual exploitation problems in Rotherham was ‘suppressed’ more than a decade ago has claimed she was threatened by two police officers.
The researcher claims she was approached by two officers while she was in her car at night, to be told it would be a ‘bad thing’ if the abusers she was investigating found out her home address.
The researcher, who has not been named, gave evidence in a private session to the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee yesterday, and said she ‘feared for her life’ as a result of harassment in connection with her work.

Would someone please explain to me why the entire world appears to live in fear of offending Muslims?

No one seems to be the least bit worried about offending Christians or conservatives, but not causing offense to Muslims has become official policy in most Western countries.
The article doesn't say much, but in this particular case, maybe the cops were in on it, perhaps being paid protection money by the gang.
Pick your phrase ... the result is the same ... they've won a lot of battles and continue to do so until someone says f*** it ... and empties a couple of magazines on a community of ragheads.

the 2nd part may be true, but they aren't even cheap labor. I saw somewhere that 2nd generation Turks and North Africans have welfare and unemployment levels over 2X native Germans.

My view is that the world will never be a safe place as long as one last Muslim is left alive. They are damaged goods and they only solution is to remove them all from the planet. It is not rational to behave as they do. There is no such thing as a “peaceful Muslim,” all you have to do is read a few parts of the Koran to understand that under the burka, they’re all the same. We didn’t put up with the Nazis who had ideas of world domination, I just don’t understand why lots of people want to give Islam a pass. The world should hang it’s head in shame for allowing them a resurgence. With the advent of WMD’s and the continued existence of Islam, we are in for a lot of serious damage.
Question. Is the police force of this area muslim also?

Not sure of Muslim cops or social workers [ likely yes ] , but South Yorkshire Police “regarded many child victims with contempt”.
One 11-year-old known as Child H told police that she and another girl had been sexually assaulted by grown men. Nothing was done. When she was 12, Child H was found in the back of a taxi with a man who had indecent pictures of her on his phone. Despite the full co-operation of her father, who insisted his daughter was being abused, police failed to act. Four months later, Child H was found in a house alone with a group of Pakistani men. What did the police do? They arrested the child for being drunk and disorderly and ignored her abusers..
