Sen. Rand Paul said President Barack Obama made “one important point ” in his remarks on Wednesday saying that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant was neither Islamic nor a state, but questioned the constitutionality of the president’s strategy.
“Ultimately, civilized Islam will have to step up. We need to do everything we can to protect ourselves, I’m all in for saying we have to combat ISIS,” Paul said Wednesday on “Hannity.” “So I think it is important not only for the American public but for the world and for the Islamic world to point out that this is not a true form of Islam, this is an abhorrent form.”

The term “civilized Islam” was a poor choice of words by Senator Paul. He is referring to politically and economically stable societies where radical fundamentalist Islam has not made major in-roads. A few examples would be Turkey, Jordan and Indonesia, a nation where religious freedom is stipulated in the Indonesian constitution and the government officially recognizes six religions: Islam, Protestantism, Roman Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslim-majority nation, at 87%.
Indonesia has the world’s 10th largest economy.

Beheading was common in Bosnia where we killed our best WW II allies to favor the head choppers. I used to have a bunch of these videos that I downloaded for my preacher, they were horrible and if the American people actually saw these kinds of atrocities maybe they would be a little more outraged.
Remember the actual killings were not shown on networks, just the lead up, we were protected by our betters, from the actual depravity on full display.
Protected....Americans have no problem with gory, violent video games. There the blood is pretend , but they have to be protected from reality? What happened to ‘education’ being everything? Yet we DON’T want to see what abortion looks like or real executions. What Islam IS should be shown to every American daily. Middle school up, the schools should show what is REALLY HAPPENING. Or we WILL see it, in person, on our streets!
