FCKH8.com, a “for-profit T-shirt company with an activist heart” released a new video Tuesday that uses kids from Ferguson, Missouri, to “educate white America about the racist reality in 2014.”
The company recruited six young black kids from Ferguson, reportedly from the same block where 18-year-old Michael Brown was fatally shot by a police officer.
“Armed ONLY with statistics (hands up, don’t shoot) these articulate and adorable kids are not having it while much of white America would rather pretend racism is over,” the video’s description reads.
The video starts with the kids noting that Ferguson is the place “where white police shot an unarmed black teen in the face.” One of the kids is heard labeling the shooting a “national disgrace.”
The kids go on to mock various statements that some white people allegedly say about black people and racism, according to the video’s creators. These include:
• “All this focus on race makes me uncomfortable.” • “It’s you people who are making this about race.” • “I don’t see color.” • “You people are just playing the race card.” • “Some of my best friends are black.”
Later in the video, a white man makes an appearance and proclaims that it’s white people’s responsibility to “own up and face” racism.
Finally, the company pitches its $13 “Racism is not over but I’m over racism” T-shirts. The for-profit company vows to donate $5 of the proceeds to charities working to fight racism.”
I have an extensive education in racism. A real life one:
People of a certain demographic have tried (and failed) to mug me three times.
I have a friend of that demo who invited me to his home, and his uncle tried to pick a fight with specifically for being a “cracker” who he thought was taking advantage of his nephew. My friend backed him off.
I had better grades and test scores than a slew of people of that demographic who got into Stanford Law on full ride scholarships. I was not admitted.
These are a small sample of my experiences.

I hit policemen in the face all the time, and they never shoot me! When someone breaks in my house or robs my business, it doesn’t bother me at all as long as they’re white!
They only get into trouble because they’re black.

The audience for this for-profit are consumers of yap music, mainly black youth, who would find this level of profanity tame and might buy enough T-shirts and other paraphernalia to make the business's proprietors wealthy. Or at least well-known enough to attract venture capital funding.
I don’t think they can teach me anything new about racism. They just keep reinforcing what they taught me when I was a child.

Doubt they will understand it, after all.. they can hear grass, can’t read cursive, and it is rasis to expect them to comply with social norms.

All appropriations bills originate in the House of Representatives. The Justice Department cannot spend a dime without the money being appropriated by the Republican House of Representatives. They are complicit in providing every dollar spent by this administration.
