Call this the wages of dithering. After a summer spent mainly on the golf course and at Democratic fundraisers while terrorists seized vast swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria — and butchered two American journalists on video — Barack Obama returns to work to find his popularity at its lowest ebb in the Washington Post/ABC News poll series. Americans now take a dimmer view of Obama’s leadership capabilities than ever before, and a majority see him as a failure:
Barack Obama’s rating for strong leadership has dropped to a new low in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, hammered by criticism of his work on international crises and a stalled domestic agenda alike. With the midterm elections looming, Americans by a 10-point margin, 52-42 percent, see his presidency more as a failure than a success.
Just 38 percent now approve of Obama’s handling of international affairs, down 8 percentage points since July to a career low; 56 percent disapprove, a majority for the first time. Fifty-two percent say he’s been too cautious in dealing with Islamic insurgents in Iraq and Syria. And the public is ahead of Obama in support for a military response to that crisis, with 65 percent in favor of extending U.S. air strikes to Syria. ….
In general assessments, moreover, Americans by a 17-point margin say Obama has done more to divide than to unite the country, a rating worse than George W. Bush’s early in his poorly rated second term – and one that’s deteriorated among Obama’s supporters as well as among his critics.

That 38% seems to be his BOTTOM.
Leadership? None detected in the vicinity of the WH for at least the past 6 years. The sad thing is that there are still supposedly 38% that think he walks on toasted bread.

Blacks and Hispanics make up around 30% of the population, so there's probably 25% of the 38%. I have no doubt that the other 13% are guilt-ridden liberals.
That 38% wouldn’t admit Obama was a bad guy if he was caught with dead girls or live boys. They hate the Right, and would defend this guy no matter what he did.
Half of the country didn’t need polls or media to tell them Obama is a SCOAMF. Six and a half year of media continuous floating his boat, even they can not hide that truth/fact any more.
Look hashtags, or squirrels, will be Obama’s ISIS speech. He’s full on crazy thinking another “highly anticipated” speech will stall for time. Eventually he will have to bat at the plate, otherwise the ball will wheeze by him.
Please keep his “plumbing” confined to the bathhouse, thank you....

Poll after poll demonstrates that there’s nothing wrong with America that couldn’t be solved by the elimination of about 38% of its population.
That number represents the hard core socialist / communist / progressive base that will vote for even the worst dictatorial type they can no matter what, even after they die...........
Assuming 150 million voters in the USA, That’s 57 Million people !!
MORE THAN THE POPULATION OF CANADA AND AUSTRALIA COMBINED are sympathetic to socialism/communism.
I kind of expect his favorables to rise.
Obama has fiddled around and cost tens of thousands of Iraqi civilian and Christian lives, populations made extinct in Iraq, but the secular Americans did have time to digest these atrocities, and the pacifist media seeing two beheadings of journalists, have over the course of this Obama fiddling time, have arrived and are on board for a US war footing.
Americans want only an air war against ISIS, no boots on the ground, at least until which time the enemy is turned into green plant fertilizer, and we are very anxious for the safety of the 300 or so advisors already sent to Iraq.
Iraq has a new coalition type government that is plainly so desperate to turn back ISIS, that they are begging us for our support, for our counsel and our material support, promising to mind the USA this time, welcoming the cooperative role of US guidance practically from inside their very government.
To use killer Syrians and the Kurds and the IraqI Army as the boots on the ground makes sense to Americans for the time being.
Now Obama is able to build a coalition of the willing, given the terror at hand.
Congress, on both sides of the aisle, have now been put in a corner by Obama to vote for a more aggressive offensive policy and these cowards don’t want to share the political ramifications for them in November.
Obama may smell like a rose politically.
