Ted Nugent Urges Americans To Stockpile Weapons Ahead Of Looming 9/11 Threat
Western Center for Journalism ^ | September 8, 2014 | B. Christopher Agee

As the 13th anniversary of the deadliest attack on American soil approaches, many experts warn of the potential threat posed by terrorist networks including Islamic State, or ISIS.

...

Unarmed & helpless Americans and Europeans will be viciously ambushed when they least expect it,” he wrote, “and the death toll will be more brutal and widespread than all the peace & love dreamers could ever imagine.”

He declared that the somber date of Sept. 11 will be “the day of infamy again.”

According to Nugent’s projection, those who already own firearms should “ammo up no matter where you go,” always carrying “10 spare mags or 10 spare speedloaders” to address the threat.

Nugent went on to describe the terrorists he believes are plotting against the U.S. as “allapukes” who are “confident they will once again methodically slaughter walking cowering whining cryin [sic] helpless sitting ducks capable of zero resistance.”

For the “gullible naive embarrassing ill prepared targets” who have yet to embrace his respect for and reliance on firearms, Nugent suggests they get on board.

>> 22 ammo is coming slowly back

I sure hope so. When it does, I’m planning to add a couple hundred thousand rounds to my store, before those dxmn hoarders get it all.

:-)

What, me worry?

IIRC we are referring to the Religion of Peace. Obungo says nothing to be concerned about.....he’s working on a strategy.

Ten? That's a lot of ammo, but, better safe than sorry and now that fall is here, it is a lot easier to carry lots of ammo.

You need to think home defense, and start grabbing and hoarding 12 gauge 00 & #4 buck. It’s readily available, not that expensive, and will do you way more good than those expensive 22’s!

What is he basing that on?

I'm guessing The Nuge is basing it on a strong belief that mass anticipation of a "day of infamy" would be real good for ammo sales!

If you’re only “stocking up” now you’ve probably waited too long. The real key is having it on hand when you need it. That mall takeover in Nairobi, for example - a gun in the car trunk is a gun that’s a million miles away.

Finding primers is the hardest. Family is planning a gun show trip in October. Biggest one of the year. Hoping there’s some ammo to get at a decent price.

I have a nice stash of primers. Bought them back when they were 20 bucks a thousand.

Yeah, I was sort of joking about the .22, sort of. :-)

I’ve been up to the gills in 12 gauge shotshells for some time now.

Especially since I discovered eastern European double ought buck loads. Cheap, and it never fails to go bang.

Back when things were *really* dry, I stocked up on target loads too. Cheap, readily available, and I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a facefull or two across the width of a bedroom.

Some day there could very well be a reckoning between us infidels and our muslim population.

Fortunately, not me. I obviously got a jump on most people. I really hope I won’t have to use it though. I’m afraid I will have to.

Now like at Big-5 when they have them you’re limited to three boxes of a hundred. I’d like to get into re-loading but the initial cost is a bit much. I’d like to experiment with different loads and bullet weight. My action rifle is a Savage 22-250 bull barrel sighted in at 500yds. I go to eastern WA and hunt prairie dogs.

My dad has an M1 carbine with about 600rds of .30cal, eight mags taped two together. As the street philosopher said: “I pity the foo’ gets in the way”

it’s ammo we need more of.

I was in Academy Sports in Garland, TX the other day, and their ammo stocks are superb. I saw no empty shelf space in that section of the store.

An review on the Glock .380 would be appreciated. Love my LCP, but I'm an old coot who grew up on double action snubbies so the trigger comes naturally. Looking for something for my wife who hates it.

tomorrow P.M., me and the little lady are headed to the range to pop off a few hundred rounds

My wife and I were planning on a trip to the range, but thought we'd conserve ammo and go after 9/11. Just in case, ya know.

There is too much chatter from the world about ISIS and Muslims along with an open border and the coming 11 September anniversary. It would be prudent for one to be prepared this Thursday. If nothing happens then fine. I’m seeing the same patterns and information appear that appeared prior to Clinton’s using half of our Cruise Missile inventory to keep Monica off the front page and the weeks before 9-11-01. I may as well have a tinfoil hat upon my head but am worried.
