President George HW Bush, March 05, 1991 =>Asset forfeiture laws allow us to take the ill-gotten gains of drug kingpins and use them to put more cops on the streets and more prosecutors in court.
Yup. It makes me laugh when the partisans here notice this great evil and start screaming about Obama. This actually reaches farther back than HW Bush, and came to you courtesy of the nation's drug warriors. The consequences of the 'drug war' on our liberties far outstrip any potential issues caused by drugs themselves.
I blame the drug warriors individually and as a group for this assault on our Constitution.

Just about all non crisp brand new 50s and 100s test positive for cocaine. Brand new currency straight from the federal reserve have cocaine residue on them.
