CNBC Viewership Plunges To 21 Year Lows
Zero Hedge ^ | 05 September 2014 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 09/06/2014 6:43:07 PM PDT by Lorianne

It's over: whether due to the complete domination of centrally-planned markets by a few central banks, whether as a result of HFTs forcing out all human traders and investors, whether due to volatility plunging to record lows and complacency at record highs, whether viewers simply aren't impressed by the new young, female faces that are increasingly taking over the primetime financial TV slots, because people are tired of Cramer's endless "caffeine" high and endless attempts to justify a record disconnect between manipulated record high "markets" and a stagnant economy in which some 53 million workers are "freelancers", or simply because video game consoles don't watch TV, America's interest with finance and the stock market is over.

Why watch? The market will go up as long as the Fed keeps pumping.

When “Maria” picked up all her marbles, walked out the door of CNBC and heade stright for Fox Business News.....The CNBC game was over. To be honest and truthful.....every once in a while....I tune into CNBC....see how they live in their self inflated, false bubble of Obama adoration, and then I immediately change channels...after gettting sick to my stomach!!! NBC, MSBC, CNBC.....all them are not living in the real world!!! Flush the toilet quickly, the “Obamabot Stink”, coming from the NBC “Peacock” is filling the room!!!

CNBC is the propganda network of the 1%. They view everything through the prism of whether it will jack up stock prices and the consequences to the rest of us they don’t give a damn.

Mario Bartiromo was the best thing they had going.

Meanwhile we have to listen to tge leftist tripe of the insufferable know-it-all Steve LIESman morning, noon, and night, cheerleading the Fed’s policies no matter the damage done, and hyping dismal economic numbers from Washington.

The slew of women all seem to be lightweights when it comes to subject matter. All of them together do not equal one Mario Bartiromo.

The also used to do investigative stuff — but no more. Charlie Gasparino long ago left for Fox Business news.

The only man with gravitas on the channel was Larry Kudlow. Now he’s gone.

The also go out of their way to get a left-wing loon into every conversation. That gets terribly tiresome. They have such kooks as Barney Frank as a paid consultant. Give me a break! NO ONE WANTS TO EVER KNOW ANYTHING HE HAS TO SAY. NO ONE! Stop putting him on. Pick someone from the left who has a modicum of commonsense and can say something useful if you must have a leftist point of view.

Their interviews of major players in the business and financial world are pitifully weak. When a big name hedge fund manager or CEO comes on all the questions are softballs. No one does their homework or any digging ahead of these interviews. We hear nothing new or enlightening from the interviews either. The appearances have all turned into cameos and ego trips. Who has time for cameos? People live busy lives.

... the insufferable know-it-all Steve LIESman...

I love it when Rick Santelli gets into LIESman's grill and riles up the guys in the commodities pit behind him. If Santelli ever jumps to FoxBiz he'll have to drag LIESman along with him as a foil.
