Ultimately, our presence either on this earth or in heaven’s larger eternity is both by God’s good plan.
The bible tells us that created mankind sinned as a whole; it threw its lot in with Satan when it had a choice. This is one of the topics that the curious might love to delve into; maybe the bible is so scanty with the description of it because God wants to deny the devil the glory. But the consequences are obviously woven into why this world is the sad, frustrating way it is.
So it is good to live on earth and it is good to go to heaven, both in their proper time.
The mightiest question is whether we have put our trust in Jesus for His promise to save our everlasting souls. We all deserved hell but an all seeing, loving God offered humanity a second chance. For the people who are willing to throw away their fallen pride and say yes to God, heaven begins while still on earth.
Good evening, HiTech, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
