Just one day after her 14-year-old daughter’s brutal murder, the dead teen’s face popped up on an Illinois mom’s phone.
It was a call from her beloved child’s stolen cell, one of several phone calls and taunting texts that Brenda O’Laughlin testified she received after coming home in Oct. 2011 to find her daughter Kelli lying in a pool of blood.

First let me say that he should be killed for sending the messages alone, which I’m sure there is no doubt he did.
But second, let me say this mother sounds strange. She thinks her daughter committed suicide, by stabbing herself multiple times? Who would think such a thing?
Then, she can’t turn her over? Why not, is the mother disabled or something? The girl was only 14, and she looks like she’s a normal weight in the photo.

However, if proven that this guy did it, and it appears he did, there is no punishment severe enough IMHO.

The authorities can triangulate the phone’s location, since it’s obviously turned on. That should at least give them a rough idea where the filth is texting from. Hopefully, he’s stupid enough to do it a few more times so they can really home in on him. Then let’s see how tough he is.

There was an episode of Forensic Files recently where a killer made a 17 year old write her Last Will and Testament to her parents.
They received it in their mail the day after she disappeared.
He then called and told them where to find the body.
