If Ronald Reagan were president today, he would handle the Islamic State (ISIS) threat very differently, and he certainly wouldn’t be looking for “cover” from the “international community,” Michael Reagan tells Newsmax TV.
In 1986, Reagan ordered airstrikes against terrorist and military targets in Libya after two American servicemen were killed in the bombing of a nightclub in Berlin that was linked to the North African country. Libya had also killed five Americans when it attacked airports in Rome and Vienna.
“For us to ignore by inaction, the slaughter of American civilians and American soldiers, whether in nightclubs or airline terminals is simply not in the American tradition,” Ronald Reagan said in a speech he gave about the reason for the attack on April 14, 1986.
“When our citizens are abused or attacked anywhere in the world on the direct orders of a hostile regime, we will respond so long as I’m in this Oval Office,” he added. …

President Reagan wouldn’t have needed to deal with ISIS. They couldn’t exist under his administration as they are a product of weakness. They would have been too scared to start. If they were stupid enough to try and form up, Reagan would have have decisively dealt with them before they got anywhere near what they are now. Their first attack would have been their last.
Thank God for Ronald Reagan. That said, I would NEVER fight under this manchurian “President” who was placed by only God knows who or what.
We should thank,Obama for making it painfully obvious that the media is controlled and we are NOT free. We are living a farce. Obama created ISIS, Obama has enabled the Muslim Radicals, and at the end of the day they are simply soldiers for the Drug Cartels.
The Drug cartels are bankers and national leaders. World markets are being flooded with pure, cheap, dangerous heroin. It is a $TRILLION industry, the Opium Wars never ended, and the sociopaths are in charge. The cartel deception and control is beyond most people’s ability to even comprehend.

When 299 Marines were killed in the Marine barracks attack in Lebanon in 1983 there was no retaliation by the administration. There were threats of retaliation but that was the end of it. That inaction, to the terrorists, was a sign of weakness and led to where we are today.
They were born in the Levant. That Lebanon. Where do you think the fathers of ISIL learned their hate—and our unwillingness to fight after being hit hard.

When that bomb blew up the 241 Marines and sailors in garrison, our military was already involved in invading a country, troops and ships were moving, and 47 hours after the bomb went off, US soldiers were fighting for the Point Salinas airstrip.
As angry as I and you were, I’m glad that Reagan stayed focused on the Soviet Union and the global situation, and it worked, no one thought that Reagan could actually defeat the vast USSR, but he did, a lesser man would probably have allowed Lebanon to divert him.
Then you have no clue what the USS New Jersey did to that country.
