Sounds like nobody knows enough details about the case to pass judgment.
So why didn’t the kids call 911 for help instead?
My first suspicion is that there was under-aged drinking, perhaps drug use, going on at the party. The last thing they wanted was a bunch of cops to show up responding to a gunshot 911 call.
The last thing they should have done was put him in a car. They could have actually contributed to his death in doing so. Their first move should have been to call 911. Someone on the other end of the phone could have given them instructions on what to do until medics arrived. Sounds like these kids watch too much TV. Throwing a seriously wounded person in the back seat of a car and driving them to a hospital tends to be a regular theme in many programs.
Probably because they're kids. Which is why we don't want kids having adult privileges.
Maybe they thought the fastest way to get help was to drive him to the hospital themselves. I have seen far too many cops that had too much attitude and made sure that EVERYONE knew THEY were in charge and THEY would control everyone and everything regardless of the situation.
Because they are gang members and many are ILLEGAL.... that part of San Jose is a sewer
In the ER community this is known as “ home boy transport”, and is quite common. Lots of times they cruise up to the ER entrance and dump out the victim and take off. Interestingly in some studies done in the 80s home boy transport shooting victims had HIGHER surciv rates then when EMS was called and led to changes in EMS protocols to “ scoop and run” to get patients to a Trauma Center as quickly as possible..
You don't really think that will stop many here from telling us exactly what happened and why, do you?
