On Friday, La Raza President and CEO Janet Murguia demanded that President Barack Obama give executive amnesty and work permits to as many as eight million illegal immigrants after reports surfaced that Senate Democrats are urging Obama not to unilaterally change the country's immigration laws before the midterm elections.
Appearing on MSNBC's Jose Diaz-Balart, Murguia said Obama and Republicans have told illegal immigrants in the past to wait for Congress to act on legislation before complaining that, "and now, there's some Senate Democrats who are asking us to wait again."
"We're done waiting. We've waited long enough," she said, claiming that 1,100 lives are "shattered" because of deportations every day. "We, as a community, expect him to fulfill his promises."
Murguia said her community was "frustrated," claimed that Obama has the "legal authority to step in and act," and said that "anywhere between three to eight million" illegal immigrants "could be served by an administrative action."
"For us, we want him to exercise the full authority that he has to provide relief for these individuals and also the opportunity to be able to leverage economic revenues and therefore provide some work permits for these individuals," she said....

Well, he did say, regarding the detention of the Marine in a Mexican jail, that he “supports the rule of law”. He plainly meant, foreign law, not American law.

He cannot give executive amnesty since he has no authority to do so.

And we already have a path to citizenship. Come here legally, as many other immigrants have done.

Yes, Mexico is reverenced as if it was a great place, ruled by a great government.
They all flee it, and trash the nation that was gracious enough not to haul their asses back to the border and dump them off.

Let me try to understand this. The group that lobbies for those breaking the law by being in this country illegally is demanding that the intentional breakers of the law be “forgiven” by giving them amnesty? Horse Manure smells better than this.

Watch him. I also expect him to pardon every black person in prison, jail, probation and parole before he leaves office. Bet me that he won’t.
They could quite well see that point, they just don’t care. They are yet another group which considers themselves “entitled”. Every group is “entitled”, except white males, particularly heterosexual (IOW, sane), Christian, white males. They are “privileged” (privileged to supply the “entitlements” of the rest).
Well, when all the Mexicans are here, we will be Mexico. Then where will they flee? Not all western countries are so suicidal-most are, but not all.
