...not really...estate inheritance taxes apply to non-spouse beneficiaries...which is what really kicked the drive for homo marriage to ramp up...

And tax law can be rewritten to accommodate civil unions. An equitible tax code is not what these people want, they want to demonstrate their power to bend the nation to their will. But, your point does illustrate that these people are truly selfish, money is what really counts.

The pervert is most likely a same-sex pedophile too. He should be monitored not married.

Yessir...agreed.

I said it that way was BECAUSE “Most people believe only half of U.S. marriages make it.” And that is they argument they use to twist and justify homosexual marriages. As in “if marriage is for the sake of children, then over half fail...” or “half marriages fail anyway...homosexual marriage won’t be any worse...”
etc.

So, get married. Find a qualified willing partner, of the opposite sex, not related, above the age of majority, mentally competent to make decisions, and have at it.

Ask him how often he cruises gay bars, and how many times he has cheated on his partner.

Hmmmm .... James Richardson and his Curdamite (Current Day Sodomite) partner may decide to take another direction in their unrelenting efforts to circumvent God's Natural Law (and Georgia's current law) of One Man and One Woman equals Marriage.

With all the craziness going on in modern times, in the near future I would not be surprised to read about either James, or his Curdamite partner, pursuing a sex-change operation.

Then, once the one who had the sex-change operation is legally declared a woman in Georgia, they would proceed to get "married".

Of course, both of them would still eventually have to stand in front of the Lord and answer for breaking two Natural Laws -- unrepentant Sodomy and an unrepentant, fake sex, psuedo-marriage.

I pray for them that they will turn to the Lord and repent their sinful behavior, before it is too late for them.

Find a good woman and marry her.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't let this fag marry my daughter, would you?

Social stability? I don't think going into a partnership with the idea of 'Fridays Off', makes for much in the way of stability.
Legal protections? Do most people go into marriage with this in mind? Why don't he and his guy-pal simply go to a lawyer and draw up the legal agreements that would give them ALL of those protections they desire.

Marriage licenses (issued by the state) are a THREE party contract between you, your spouse and the STATE.

That's why I think churches should ONLY do religious ceremonies, and not be agents of the state at all. Would it be a problem if couples want to be married in their churches, and not bother with a marriage license? They could still go to a lawyer and deal with any legal or property issues that need to be handled for inheritance purposes. Any employer will allow a non-spouse, in State terms, on a life or health insurance policy, if the policy holder desires.

With the exception of tax breaks for married couples, I don't see how NOT having a marriage license could be an issue. Churches would then be OUT of the government marriage business, and could then determine, within the confines of their teachings, who could be married in that faith tradition.

While your post is spot on, I would point out that progressives, regardless of party, do not want stable homes OR stable children. In fact they fight against both. After all. both would promote all the values in life that they abhor.

I read the full article, not just the excerpt here.

Two things jumped out at me.

The first thing is that the writer noted, correctly, that “After all, the tide is not as unidirectional as people say.” It is not yet certain homosexual marriage will be forced on all states. The author links to this article, which is worth reading by all of us, about the one federal judge so far who has ruled at the trial level that a state has the right to ban homosexual marriage:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/federal-judge-upholds-la-sex-marriage-ban-25231935

The other one of those two things was already noted by Mr. Rogers:

“’And this Sunday, as those before it, we’ll be in the pews of the same evangelical church we’ve quietly attended for years.’ Guess they need to find a real evangelical church - one where the word ‘repent’ is sometimes heard!”

This isn't just a political problem; this is a church problem. We don't know what church this homosexual couple attend. I noted the word “attend,” not “belong to” or “of which we are members,” so it's remotely possible they attend a church where the pastor preaches the Bible and is trying to work patiently with two people in serious public sin who are not allowed to join the church or take communion but are encouraged to sit under the preaching of the Word.

But it's not likely.

What's much more likely is they attend a church, or even have joined a church, which claims to be evangelical but doesn't preach the need for repentance and doesn't discipline.

This couple is open and public about their homosexual sin. The pastor can't claim not to know, at least not now. The pastor must act, and no longer has a choice.
