too bad Ukraine is allowed to be swallowed up
My husband and I visited Russia in 2008 (only St. Petersburg) and we SAW how FAR Russia is STILL behind the West. They will NEVER, EVER catch up to us, no matter how much Putin flexes and the Ukraine protests.
Their problem: they are Russians and simply can't get their act together for a Western standard of living. They just are too far behind us and they hate it.
