People killed with “assault weapons” are rare.

The only purpose is to deprive the citizen of the right to protect him/herself against government tyranny.

The US Senate can pound sand.

I won't give up my rights just because any politician says I must.

I'm somewhat impossible to reason with about freedoms given by God.

Sarcasm against those who blather that expression can be easy, if you define what the words mean, properly making a mockery out of it.

“It means a rifle with that thingy on the end that can hold a bayonet, because bayonets are like knives, and knives can kill people.”

“It means a rifle with a barrel cover (shroud), because barrels get hot, and if your barrel is hot, you can’t grab it and swing it like a club, which could kill a person if you hit them with it.”

“It means a rifle with a pistol grip on it, because if you try to fire a rifle like you would fire a pistol, you couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn and you might kill a cow or something.”

Yep.

A lotta other folks were darned stubborn about such things too.

Must be that whole "that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are..." thing, right?

Then those cheeky Founding Fathers went on to actually write out (in official documents no less!) things like "to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

That's a lotta nerve, those guys, eh?

Inflammatory speech like that could start an uprising or something . . . :-)

First, what is an “assault weapon” in functional terms? There is no such thing. Based on how liberals write and passed the previous AWB, it is a rifle that looks scary. Liberals went crazy (redundant) when people built non-AWB rifles that looked exactly like AWB rifles except the muzzle didn’t have a scary flash suppressor.

Reminds me of the ‘debate’ poll question the other day: “Should adults be allowed to teach children to shoot guns?”

“Allowed”? We’re not looking for permission or approval.
The real question: “Should anti-2nd amend./Bill of Rights politicians be invited to KMA?”

Nah, nah, nah, it’s that shoulder thing that goes up that makes it an EBR.

I personally don’t know anyone with an assault weapon. Lots of defensive weapons, sure, but no assault weapons.

Where are all the so-called assault weapons anyway?

Her we have ISIS coming into the United States with Fully Automatic weapons and our own states want to leave us defenceless by taking away the only thing we can fight back with.

When these terrorist get here the state and local police forces will be hard pressed to fight back..

They’ll be lucky if they can deal with one issue at a time. The Attack in Boston was a prime example.
