If that would work, why aren’t we doing it in on Earth?

"60 feet across? If it were to hit the earth, it wouldn’t even be a big deal."

Meteor Crater, which is about 1 mile wide and 570 ft deep. was made by an object about 120 feet across, or about 1/8 of the overall size.

Assuming similar speeds and material and density, that might make a crater 1/8 mile wide and 60 feet deep. Not an extinction event, to be sure, but I would not want to be near it.

Of course, it might just airburst, like the recent event in Russia, and never impact the ground.

Because the stuff is cheap and plentiful on the surface. It is hideously expensive to move it into orbit.
But you are right - we don’t have the technology organized and packaged that way yet.

Tried several WCS.

Impact Earth!

I don't think a 60ft diameter would produce a crater, might make a nice strewn field though.
