You raise a very interesting point, Mr. Rivera, why don’t you lead a charge to repeal part of the Bill or Rights?

You know, I just realized that the Creator is kind of like the cable company in this matter of Natural Rights.

Meaning that there isn't a menu or smorgasbord of Natural Rights that you can pick and choose, kind of like you don't get to pick and choose the basic channels the cable company gives you. The Creator endowed you just like it says in the Declaration, and it is what it is.

Now, if Geraldo and his ilk want to drop their Natural Rights "cable" because they object to the Second Amendment Channel, then they're welcome to do that. They can go hang out with the Islamists, who also don't believe in Natural Rights.

Well, take a stroll through the BOR.

We don’t have to worry about troops taking up residence in our homes (yet), and those accused of felonies have the right to counsel.

If it weren’t for the NRA and the fact there are 1.1 guns per American, our tyrants in DC would have easily done away with gun rights long ago.

Our rights, natural and otherwise, exist for practical, real world purposes only when there are institutions willing and capable of securing them.

James Madison referred to Bill of Rights as ‘parchment barriers,’ for he knew from experience that rights must be backed up with force.

It is why the tenth amendment is a goner until the states return to the senate.

Exactly! Th left often talks about the Constitution as a living, breathing document that needs to change with the times. They overlook that the Founding Father provided a very specific mechanism for the Constitution to live and breath. Its called Article V of the United States Constitution.
