(Reuters) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko accused Russia on Monday of "direct and open aggression" which he said had radically changed the battlefield balance as Kiev's forces suffer major reverses in the war with pro-Moscow separatists.

Ukraine's military said its forces had been ordered to pull back from a vital airport in the east of the country, near the city of Luhansk, where they had been battling a Russian tank battalion.

Oops, I repeated a link to the original article, but left out the quote!

Defense Minister Valery Heletey added on his Facebook page that Ukraine no longer faced a threat from separatists but outright war with Russian troops. "Unfortunately, in such a war, the losses will be numbered not in their hundreds, but in thousands, even tens of thousands," he said. "We must refrain from panic and show that Ukrainians are not about to surrender."

Still cheering on Putin and his police state that you KGB groupies are so excited over !

Why do you Putin groupies want to enslave the Ukrainians !

Why don't you go move to that hell in Russia rather than cheering on the destruction of a free people!

Just sick !

Of course not, they were recruited, armed, paid and coordinated by the Russian government but so far majority of them were “technically” not a part of Russia’s regular units but even that has been changing recently...

It started with special forces soon after the pro-Russian corruptocrats were toppled from power.

When Kiev junta was launching ballistic missiles into civilian neigborhoods and causing wanton destruction of cities in the east of Ukraine, it was called Anti terrorist operation.(ATO) In reality, it was terrorist operation meant to terrorize 8 million people.

Now, when Kiev crime syndicate army is almost destroyed, weapons seized and barrel of the gun turned towards junta, it is suddenly called "a war".

The name ATO was an attempt to murder civilians with impunity (more than 2000 murdered, 6000 maimed)while calling it war is an attempt to seek protection of Geneva convention when losing.
