Sorry to be late to the prayer circle.
Been sitting with my 96 year old Mom at the nursing home. A bout of pneumonia has her pretty whipped.

May the Lord please His healing hand upon you, relieving you of your current distress. May you feel His presence, and know His love for you. Never fear, as He is with you.

Another thing we can always do for those FReepers who have fallen ill these days is always remember and apply what they have discussed with us over the years...
Basil is still with us, and we can best honor them by remembering those things about them that make them so cherished...
This was not good news. It’s better late than never so I will join the others who are praying for full and fast recovery Mari. This is a bummer, but you have too much spunk to let this keep you down, Relax and heal in the Father’s care.

Hi! My mom had surgery this morning to release the pressure on her brain from bleeding, probably caused by the fall she took last June-it's kind of like a stroke, but she can recover.I left the hospital about 4 hours ago and she was waking up-she's still very confused, she has no short term memory. They don't know if her memory will improve or not. She was very sad and emotional but that could be from the anesthesia. The estimate she'll be in the ICU for 2 weeks, they have to keep her as long as the drain is in her brain..right now the biggest worry is she'll pull that out but they'll also start physical therapy. After the hospital she may have to do inpatient rehab. It's all still unknown. I'll keep you posted. I know how worried you are. You can post this on FR, that always makes mom happy.. Her vitals all looked great, and she's gained a lot of weight so those are positive!
