Racism and suffering are powerful tools in the hands of talented opportunists. With a mastery of duplicity, equivocation and guided bitterness, the result is a perfect crusade.
The deadly confrontation in Ferguson, Mo., between Michael Brown and Officer Darren Wilson has been a textbook case. To their great credit, Michael Browns parents and Darren Wilson's supporters have navigated their suffering with great dignity.
For the left, Ferguson is about winning and conquering the present legal system. It is not about evidence, guilt or innocence. It is simply about power, control and reversed racism. Led by Rep. Elijah Cummings, the Congressional Black Caucus is even calling for a police czar. Pressure has mounted for the fourth-term, popularly elected county prosecutor Bob McCulloch to be removed from the case because he is a white lawyer with an extensive history in law enforcement who lost his father to a black assailant over four decades ago.
Is racism and bias alive in America? Yes it is. With ever-increasing vehemence, it is being stoked by the president of the United States, his attorney general and characters like White House insider Sharpton. They are coming against a police department and legal process near you. So much for peace and justice.

I'm withholding judgement on this. Trayvon's parents pretended he was a little angel and were lying through their teeth and have profited from their son's death and the subsequent marketing of the St. Trayvon meme.
If it comes out that Michael Brown had a juvenile record, the parents should be condemned for building a false meme of their own that he never got into trouble.
Fergunson is all about mobilizing the African-American community for the 2014 midterms.
That’s ALL it is.
Over the years it's the race-grievance industry and those who profit from it. Lately others such as the aforementioned characters want to use the lies and turmoil to their own ideological advantage.
As black-on-white retaliatory assaults accumulate because of Obama Administration, MSM and race-grievance industry lies keep in mind that
That's part of the reason but to me it's clear that there's much more to it.
There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. ~ Booker T. Washington (1856-1915.) ~ Educator, Author, Civil Rights Leader
Basically, it's the lucrative race-grievance business but over the years it seems to me that some are using the turmoil to impose "fundamental changes" to our Republic and heritage.
Racism. Not 'reversed' racism, just plain racism.
Oh it gets worse.
St. Louis county is made up of 90 municipalities, about 60 percent have their own agency. There are about 30 within 5 miles of the incident. Those city councils will be very reluctant to hire any more white officers and indeed will be pressured to make officers that work there, live there. Those white officers who have traditionally been able to live wherever, will have to make a choice. Keep their job and move into crime ridden areas with unaccredited schools or those on the cusp of it, or find new employment.
I can tell you from my perspective and I think I can speak for many others, we aren’t moving there and thousands of years of collective experience and knowledge will be lost to the area in the name of political expediency and trading quality for misplaced equality.
There is a further push for Federal oversight into these agencies to root out those engaged in racial profiling when not one officer has ever been convicted of racial profiling, even with the millions of stops that have occurred since the mandated reporting of racial data in 2000. 14 years and no concrete data to prove that racial profiling is going on.
Stuff like this is making me more racist.
