It would be a really bad idea to rile up the armored cavalry at Fort Bliss. Cav types tend to take such things personally.

I bet the treat to Fort Bliss is a feint. They will do some kind of spectacular attack in Dallas or Houston.

There is no armored cav at Bliss anymore. 3rd ACR removed to Ft. Carson decades ago.
Ft. Bliss still hosts the SGM Academy, the ADA school, and hosts 1st Armored Div and its artillery units, and two commands of the Luftwaffe.
