Yes, I heard the arty. But the pic over there seems to show an aircraft. Looks to me like fixed wing but pic very poor quality. true/false? No idea...

EuromaidanPR is an affiliate of Right Sector? Is that like saying that Russia Today is an affiliate of the Bolsheviks?

Fairly easy target if at anchor or berthed at a pier. Also no word on if they were aware of the approaching forces and risk.

If Arty is on the long axis of the ship even easier. In the old days firepower on the long axis was called “crossing the T” when a ship passed in front of another due to the strafing effect it produces.

Looks like birds to me. I watched it several times, and the bird dives into the sea.

This isn’t WW2. An aircraft doesn’t have to get anywhere near a surface target to take it out, these days.

Re: "The Russians know all about that in the battle at Port Arthur against the Japs."

True.

But it also took the Japanese 5 months - and thousands of dead soldiers - to seize the surrounding hills.

It did, but losing 1000s was nothing new for either side, then or 35-40 years later.
