Brave, but not a deterrent without US leadership. We have become a weak, impotent, helpless, clown state. Small states with tiny armies, that consider two dead soldiers to be national tragedies will not have the stomach to send tens of thousands of the men into a meat grinder.
Say what you will, free nations always sucked at war. It is not a coincidence that America’s war President: Lincoln, FDR, Bush all had an authoritarian streak. Putin can just send 100,000 Russian teenagers to bleed in Ukraine and not even admit he is doing it.

Putin has openly admitted he wishes to reassemble the USSR, and the KGB agent is doing just that.
Putin invades, and you are begging to surrender.
Why is that? Because you think he is ready to try and take as many of us with him as he can, as Russia is evaporated, and so resistance to him and his will, is futile?
The war wouldn't start with a paratrooper attack like that. It would be border incursions, and a careful methodical engulfment a yard at a time. Augmented by a Chinese navy that is getting exponentially more powerful. The moslem faction of their alliance would be ISIS times 1000.
So there you have the Moslems attacking Europe from the southeast, much like the Ottoman Turks. Russia and China from the central and north European areas. China and their smaller allies like (Islamic)Indonesia would fight/defend the Eastern Front.
Not saying this is how this is going to play out, but if there is a significant NATO / Russian clash, it could easily escalate to this scenario.
If US ever goes to war with Russia, atleast two dozen freepers will need to be put into internment camps.
