If you want to get some idea about why President Obama has not formulated a strategy for defeating ISIS, take a look at . . . Thursday.
Yes, Thursday.
On Wednesday night, reporters were given Obamas Thursday schedule. It did not mention a meeting between Obama and his national security advisors.
Just before 10:00 am, we received word that he would convene a meeting with the National Security Council at 4:00 pm sharp. It sounded portentous. Such meetings arent normally scheduled so hastily or announced to reporters.
Then, at about 1:45 pm, 45 minutes after the daily briefing was supposed to have started, reporters were alerted that White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest would instead brief at 4:00 pm.
Now, that sounded a little weird, since it would occur at the same time as what seemed like an important national security meeting, about which reporters would be dying for information. Why not brief at 5:30? But, whatever.
Then, at 3:30 pm, we were informed Obama would make a statement at 4:00, followed by Act 2, which would be Earnest at 4:10 pm.
But wait a second, wasnt Obama supposed to be in a meeting at 4:00 pm? And why would he be making a statement before entering this critical meeting. Maybe he would be saying, Im about to have a meeting, and gosh, Im super excited!
At 4:09 pm just nine minutes late, very prompt for Obama - the president popped up in the briefing room to make a statement about an economic report nobody was paying attention to and to say some other things that werent news. Then he started taking questions.
OBAMA WAS GOING TO DO THE BRIEFING HIMSELF! Hurray!
Once he was offstage, we received official word that the Josh Earnest had indeed been pulled.
I think you get the point by now. The White House, where the president rolls into work mid-morning, where everything starts late, and where schedules are sort just suggestions, is a disorganized mess.
And thats why theres no ISIS policy, even though the administration claims to have been aware of the threat for a year.
“theres no ISIS policy”
Of course there’s an ISIS policy. Benign neglect is often the preferred policy with friends: if all is going well for them, leave them alone.
this is all al-taqiyaa on obamas part.
Exactly! And very few people, which includes most conservatives, understand that.
There are those who joke that black people are never on time for anything. Obola seems to be trying to reinforce that stereotype.
it is dysfunctional dithering by a peter principled affirmative actioned black fool
When you have decided to do nothing who needs a strategy
Another lazy Black guy?
Hagel had already retired, thereby escaping the stigma.
I'm not aware of who might hold the title now -- but, at the time of his advancement, Joe shared the co-ed title with Patty Murray, universally known as "The Dumbest Woman In The Senate".
Yeah, but the Democrats know where the money is.
The purpose of the Democrat Party is to elect thieves to office so that they have access to the public treasuries.

Barack Obama is not the same as Neville Chamberlain.
Chamberlain did not yearn from the very marrow of his bones to destroy England.
“Barack H. Obama= Neville Chamberlain or he is a Muslim front man doing his job.”
I am about half way through “On Borrowed Time” by Leonard Mosley.
It is a detailed account of how bumbling by Chamberlain directly lead to WWII, and the many times that the outcome could have been prevented.
It reminds me very stongly of how Obama is acting, with no concern for reality, only attempting to make sure that his vision of events is verified by the crafting of the news.
A frightening parallel. The fact that the British and French lied repeatedly to there allies, and broke treaties at will, but then expected Hitler to only tell the truth and abide by all agreements, was self delusional.
We see much the same in the Obama administration.
Your house/town first.
ISIS is no big deal. Bombing Iran and its allies is the defense priority.
Incompetence? - Cowardice? - Stupidity? - Corruption? - All of the Above!.......
All of the above.
