AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Two Texans, one White House. Is the 2016 Republican campaign trail big enough?

After plummeting from prime contender to political punchline three years ago, Gov. Rick Perry is gearing up for a second run for president. And he's turned his recent indictment on felony abuse-of-power charges into a campaign rallying cry.

There isn’t anything to clear up, Cruz was born an American citizen and fully qualified for the presidency.

Cruz was born American, and the Canadian citizenship was a silent formality of where his mother was working at the time, Cruz didn’t even know it until last year, and he had a lawyer remove his Canadian citizenship.

Perry/Cruz or Cruz/Perry, I would vote that ticket either way.

Perry, Cruz. Throw a couple of more names into the primaries and we get Romney.

Pres and VP cannot be from the same state.

Yeah, remembered that right after I posted. Not an issue for me anyway, as I'd not vote perry for dog catcher.

Cruz will mop the Rino’s floor, it’s time to clean up!

Perry earlier telegraphed that he is for a variant of amnesty. Perry is at least GOPe RINO-light.

Cruz is a pure constitutional conservative. Cruz is my candidate; no more pale pastels.

Dual citizenship, what the hell is that, anyway?
Is Dual Citizenship mentioned in the Constitution on eligibility?

Yhello, yhello. Cruz was born American, and the Canadian citizenship was a silent formality of where his mother was working at the time, Cruz didn’t even know it until last year, and he had a lawyer remove his Canadian citizenship.
