Why Republicans Will Take the Senate
Realclearpolitics ^ | August 28, 2014

Netting six Senate seats is a challenge, especially since part of that equation would require Republicans to retain their own competitive seats in places like Georgia and Kentucky. But Republicans believe that the stars, moons, and planets are all aligning for just such a changing tide this November.

Recently, Mark Levin has been on a tear, railing against the GOP. The problem is, the only alternative he offers is an Article 5 Convention. That is NOT going to correct what is wrong with the GOP/Republican Party.

While noble, Levin's push for an Article 5 Convention is an attempt to close the barn door after the horse left.

A lawless despotic government IS NOT going to abide by any "laws" passed and ratified that it does not agree with. Fact of life and history.

An Article V Convention and any amendments ratified from it would have to be applied AFTER the despots are removed from power - and we revert back to the Rule of Law. That is if the federal government doesn't decree a meeting of the states to be an insurrection given the amount of demonization the idea of proposing new amendments to revert us back to the intents of the Founders has been.

Reverting back tot he rule of law is not going to happen without violence. Those in power and those seeking power ARE NOT going to give up their rule without a fight.

Right now they will use an activist judiciary, and praetorian media to wage the war against the will of the people, and knock down laws and bans against perverted behavior the regime does not like. Tomorrow it will be simple decree by Obama, his Czars and his Alphabets - and he will use brute force to impose his will.

And that is what the Militarization of law enforcement, Federal Alphabets and the stockpiling of ammunition and weaponry is for.

Amendment V is not going to stop lawless tyrants, because they are a law unto themselves. They will render null and void any 'amendment' passed that reins in their power if choking off the supply of federal funds does not squeeze compliance and submission to the Tyrants out of those states.

I have a brother who has voted conservative all his life and he is so sick of his liberal wuss bag REPUBLICAN senators Alexander and Corkhole he is pulling the D in senate races this time around.

I won’t vote for that idiot Grimes but the conservative face punching and race baiting McConnell won’t get my vote either. If he loses it’s on him and the GOPE.

Yup. We're advocating Conservatives write in a candidate of their choice, rather than surrendering it to Grimes, who - I think wins handily in November.

Even out here in red county country - not a single Mitch sign anywhere. Nothing but Alison signs. McConnell is just running ads on AM radio - and they are as lame as anything I ever heard.

As predicted, McConnell's ads are nowhere near as attacking and vitriolic against Grimes as his ads were against Bevin.

It is a fact now that the GOP Leadership would prefer a Democrat MarxoFascist in their seat than see a Conservative in it.

Okay, they take the Senate. Then what? What’s the plan to save America?

Or will they F it up like always and lose everything again in 2016?

Never underestimate the GOPe’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
