Im in no position to judge cause I dont have all the facts, but it seems to me if a civilian had done this he or she would be up on charges. We have all these public service announcements about "texting while driving" being dangerous, and it's illegal in many jurisdictions. But a cop fiddling with his laptop is OK. WTF?

(You don't notice it's a police state until the police come for you.)

A cop can be as reckless and dangerous as he wants to, as long as he’s doing his job. He can treat the tax paying public as speed bumps. We are collateral damage in their heroic fight against crime. And the only risk they should take is the police department budget.
Wow.. This boot polish taste aweful, even if I’m taking it ironically.
