I’m in no position to judge cause I don’t have all the facts, but it seems to me if a civilian had done this he or she would be up on charges.

We have all these public service announcements about "texting while driving" being dangerous, and it's illegal in many jurisdictions. But a cop fiddling with his laptop is OK. WTF?

A cop can be as reckless and dangerous as he wants to, as long as he’s doing his job. He can treat the tax paying public as speed bumps. We are collateral damage in their heroic fight against crime. And the only risk they should take is the police department budget.
Wow.. This boot polish taste aweful, even if I’m taking it ironically.

You certainly ask a lot of questions, peasant. We just need your real name & SSN so we can follow up on your concerns.
