Ive told your producers that for all I know this is something that one of Howard Sterns punk people have been doing. It came out, what, two weeks after the event, so I dont have a high degree of confidence in it.
I look at this and I say my first inclination is someone is trying to punk CNN, said Klinger.

Uh, "someone" didn't "try", "someone" "did", regardless of how CNN tries to portray their disclaimers while going full bore on it.
What'd CNN do, hire Capt. Dan "Frequency" Blather & Co. as authentication experts?
They used to have editors and credibility, too.
There was a period of time after that where they developed something called Journalistic Standards where stories needed to be sourced. It didn't eliminate bias, but it at least meant they would have some confidence the story wasn't total BS.
Now, with all the competing 24 hour networks, plus all the Internet crap, they are back where they were 100+ years ago... fighting for viewers and putting anything out just to be first.
