If Britain were to join the United States, it would be the second-poorest state, behind Alabama and ahead of Mississippi.
The ranking, determined by Fraser Nelson, an editor of The Spectator magazine, was made by dividing the gross domestic product of each state by its population, and it took into account purchasing power parity for cost of living. Several other European countries were also included in the ranking.

I’ll say it again- their name should be changed to Not So Great Britain. If it weren’t for Margaret Thatcher, things there would be even worse. For all our problems, we’re doing great compared to that place. But if Democrats continue to hold power, we’ll be headed rapidly in that direction.
And yet, the Lib Looneys want all that Socialism here. But they aren’t even pretending anymore......it is painfully obvious they want to completely destroy this once great country.

We are headed down the road Britain has traveled ahead of us. The Brits spend too much on welfare much of it going to people from Mohammedan countries who want to destroy the country in which they are living. The Brits are not intelligent enough to put those people on the next slow boat back to Pissantistan.

No wonder the French were always pissed at the English. Quite a bit of it is on display, in the Bloody Tower and I guess they want their stuff back, after so many lost bsttles...
The Palace of Westminster(House of Commons) is pretty neat, when viewed from across the Thames...
We could take them on as a Territory and let Australia administer the place...

If my math is right, they’d be entitled to about 70 seats in House! Eek.

The end result of this policy is a Britain that has an income that would make it one of the poorest US states.
But if they joined now they’d have only 1 seat until 2023! It would probably end up being George Galloway, unless he’d prefer the Senate, he’d make Barbara Lee look conservative.

Britain was a sham anyway. They are a good example of what
happens when you leave your borders open to primitive
cultures. The worst thing they did was virtually leaving
their surfs, subjects, proletariat, etc. unarmed and by law
not allowed to personally defend themselves.

"Primitive cultures" represent perhaps 10% of the British population. Excluding mixed race individuals (who may or may not identify as white), Britain's population is 87% white, compared to the US population, which is only 72% white.
Britain ought to have a lower GDP per capita compared to the US simply because we have vastly greater amounts of natural resources per capita than the British Isles. Apart from Luxembourg, which is a tax haven with no industry to speak of, Norway is the EU's highest GDP per capita nation because it has significant amounts of oil and a small population.
What impresses about Britain is that despite the vast resource gap, the difference between American and British output per capita isn't all that large. For an example of the kind of gap that can exist between two countries with vastly different natural resource endowments, look at Saudi Arabia ($24K) and Yemen $1.4K) - one has abundant oil whereas the other has very little, and neither has significant modern non-oil related industries.
Note also that the US white number (72%) includes Hispanics, many of whom are pure-blooded Aztecs, Mayans and so on from Central and South America.
I like their accent much better than Brits too...
Obama even publicly announced that he wants to “remake America” and to remake America, he must first unmake America.
The full blooded aztec etc are counted as other non white hispanic.
