(Chicago) Mayor Emanuel is vowing to phase-in a higher minimum wage in Chicago than Springfield politicians are planning for the entire state.
Rahm says he’ll push for a $13 minimum wage in Chicago even if the state enacts its pending ten dollar minimum wage.

and who in Chicago will pay most of the higher costs in most every area of retail shopping, from fast food, food stores, pharmacies, clothing, ect., ect. that will be the biggest result of a higher minimum wage? those who earn the minimum wage.
nothing is more emblematic of promising the little guy you’re helping him while you are screwing him, than the legally mandated “minimum wage”.
Those pikers! How about a $100 per hour living wages? To suggest less is putting hate on the working man (and woman). No $100 per hour, no peace. No justice, no peace. Are they racists? $13 per hour is an obvious hate crime.
