State Treasurer and former CEO Doug Ducey won the Republican primary for Arizona governor Tuesday, riding to victory with a campaign that focused on his blend of government and business experience in serving as a state official and building an ice cream company into a national brand. [
]
The race to replace Republican Gov. Jan Brewer began as a fairly quiet contest focused on health care and jobs before shifting abruptly when thousands of immigrant children began pouring into the country and some settled in Arizona.

...when thousands of immigrant children began pouring into the country... "Immigrant children" my @$$. They are all freeloaders wanting a free ride on the backs of the taxpayers. As a taxpayer, I'm pissed. Any politician who so much as sniffs at amnesty will never get my vote, for what little it's worth during these days of massive voter fraud.

Please don’t flame me but I thought Brewer stood up to Obama and the left wing? Why such anger? Not from Arizona
so I am out of the loop.

I would never vote for anyone endorsed by Brewer. She embraced Common Core and she bullied a few AZ-R lawmakers to vote with all the Dems to institute the Medicaid expansion. Her endorsement was the kiss of death in some races. Glad Ducey won. Hope he can win again in November against all the Dem corruption. I feared all the Independent, newly registered, voters.......I figured they would all vote for Thomas and that would be the end of a relatively Conservative AZ.

I have the utmost respect for Palin and Cruz. Their endorsement of Ducey makes me glad he won but I still
don’t understand the anger towards Brewer.
To: stanne
Doug was the last guy the GOPe wanted to win.

Just moved to Arizona last year and this was my first primary. I voted for Ducey - was hoping he was the right guy because I haven’t been really paying attention. Looks like we backed the right horse.

There were four reasons that I voted for Ducey.
1. Palin
2. Cruz
3. Arpaio
4. All of those damn lying ads that came out about Ducey and Cold Stone Creamery. That was a disgrace and those lying ads got pretty damn old and tiresome.
