Bad news about Brownback.

Roberts, on the other hand, won’t be missed much.

Surely you jest. Kansas is no where near “Conservative”. Kansas is Moderate at best.

The *electorate* in Kansas is conservative. The Republicans whom the state party and the good ol' boy network chooses for them vote for generally are not.

Yes, and when the “schoolbooks” are lying and the “news” is a Bolshevik concoction and the illegals, welfare cases are terrorist are given priority, it’s either we fight, or just accept our new masters.

Pretty dark on the east side. Ghetto. Much nicer in KS. Both of my sons have resided in KC. One in KS, one in MO. The one who lived in MO moved down to Table Rock Lake.

When was the last time the “electorate” in Kansas chose a Conservative Republican? Names like Kassenbaum, Dole and Roberts do not “ring out” Conservative to me.

Orman is pro-amnesty. Wolf did the right thing endorsing Roberts. Jerry Moran is the bigger problem. They need to be united for Roberts so Moran can’t use that issue of spoiling to protect himself.

Im happy if pro-amnesty Ravenel spoils for Graham. Graham and Hutto are identical on SCOTUS, gun control and doing whatever the Chamber tells them.

Most these third party candidates are open borders like Gary Johnson. But the voters aren’t going to care in NC or SC if it is a protest vote against the pro-amnesty GOP candidate.

“. It’s just not practical to say that we’re going to find and send back to other countries 11 million undocumented people. We’ve got whole industries in Kansas that would go away if we attempted to introduce such an unworkable policy. Towns like Dodge City and Garden City and much of the agricultural community in Kansas would be absolutely devastated.

Finally, our policy must also be fair to taxpayers. The 11 million undocumented individuals in America should be required to register with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by a certain date, pay a fine or perform community service as an acknowledgment that they’ve broken the law, hold down a job, pay taxes, and obey our laws, and ultimately, at that point, if they want to get in line and apply for citizenship, they should be able to do so. Once we’ve done that, we should fully implement the e-verify system and hold employers accountable for hiring undocumented workers who have not registered with ICE.”

How unconventional!

Amnesty first. Then, secure the border.

Ah, thanks for the info. My mother-in-law lives on the KS side and looks down her nose at the MO side, but she tends to be a snob. ;-)

I’ve always thought I should live in Peculiar. Probably suits me.

Kansas was conservative and Republican when it was mostly rural. The conservative western, rural part is de-populating, and the liberals are taking over the cities and college towns.

I can't quite believe the results of that poll, however. The numbers by party voting in the primary election lead me to believe (hope?) the sane party will hang on for a few more years.

You must be from PA. That is the only way you could be so ignorant about Kansas politics.

Are you 1,000 miles from Kansas and pretending expertise on Kansas politics?
