There is of course a small middle class to perform professional services (Medical, Legal, Financial, etc) for the rich. However the middle class is deliberately kept small since a large powerful middle class threatens an oligarchy.
I long ago concluded the "plan" is to destroy the American middle class (and it's uppity Constitution) while at the same time importing a subservient lower class.
