So what does ISIL stand for?

Obama didn’t want people calling Obamacare “Obamacare” either, he insisted they use “ACA” as in Hussein’s Unaffordable Care act (HUAC).

So what does ISIL stand for? It is the original name of that group: Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Since the Levant includes Israel, I have to believe that it is being used as a threat against our only true friends in that region.

I’m okay with either name. Obama wants to distance it from Syria. But the Levant is something folks need to know about.
It’s a cultural regression that should awaken westerners.
