I’m with you, Geron. I would have no issue, otherwise, with the Islamic flag being desecrated in such a way (or in an equivalent way), but it makes to sense to me that this...woman should desecrate herself as well. Gross would be an understatement.

Yes. They defiled themselves and they did their so-called “cause” no good whatsoever. I will not allow myself to be associated with it, I am not wanting to be on their side in anything.

I don’t think you understand the Muslim mind, and that keeps you from understanding why she did what she did. She is playing at their level. They don’t care if there is blood on their flag; they bloody their flag with everything they do. Poop, they’ve got everywhere in their lands; the stench is everywhere, from what I’ve read and heard.

For either poop or blood to mean ANYTHING to these people, she had to do what she did. What I saw had the privates blurred out and the point was made.

Those who look on this as if it’s a sexual image might be disturbed by the footage of Auschwitz because the people are - gasp! - naked. Or perhaps someone who is raped in public should be looked away from rather than helped, because her privates are naked. As I said, this is not the way I would have chosen to fight, but at some point it’s time to stop blushing and time to start fighting fire with fire.

The woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears was considered a terrible, terrible woman because she touched a man. She was a whore and she touched a man. And Jesus had the audacity to LET her!! In that day it probably made him seem like her customer! Another woman put expensive perfume on his feet during Holy Week and was chided by Judas - that great judge of human character and what is moral - for not using her money in a more “pious”, acceptable way. I will never forget Jesus’ words to Judas, because I love Jesus SO MUCH for those words: “Leave her alone. She’s done a beautiful thing for me...”

Jesus looked at her heart.

Leave this woman alone. Jesus hung on the cross totally naked. Willingly. But that act of love is my life, now and forever. The nakedness makes it all the more beautiful, BECAUSE it was a source of pain and mockery at the time. His shame, willingly endured for me, is the greatest act of love this world has ever seen - even if the bystanders couldn’t see or understand it at the time.

Sometimes we need to get past “tee hee” and see what really matters. If some of us are looking at that image and being aroused as if it was porn then maybe our MINDS are what is unclean. And I say that as someone who has fought against porn.
