BK in my area is not doing good.. Carls Jr. has them beat. Always a line at Carls, went into BK last week with my daughter, we were the only ppl in there.. and very few drive ups.. hate to see a good business go down, but I think my local BK is heading that way

I like Timmy's, BK not so much

Tim Horton's has some healthy and fresher food choices. How long will it take BK to trash them?

Y’all gotta understand: Tim Hortons is to Canada what Starbucks is to USA, just more so. Tim’s is darned near a religion.

I hoping BK is using Timmy’s as a shell to cover them and escape tax liability. I don’t want a true merger. BK would serve some crappy timbits.

Tim Hortons has changed hands a few times in recent years. They were owned by Wendy’s not too long ago.

Tim’s is darned near a religion.

It's true. Ask any Canadian for directions and they will use Timmys as a reference point.

Our youth pastor is from Kincardine; that small town actually has TWO Timmys. I asked him is the reason was that there's the one you go to, and the one you don't go near. Yes, it's a religion.

Tim Horton’s coffee just tastes weird to me... bitter... burnt. I dunno what it is, but to me, good coffee is 8 O’clock whole bean Dark Italian Roast... I love that stuff.

Timmy’s is not very good. Good coffee and donuts. The rest, not very good. But Wow, they are on almost every other corner. Good for them.

“good coffee is 8 O’clock whole bean Dark Italian Roast”

8 O’clock coffee is consistently excellent across their entire line of whole bean and ground coffees.

I need to go out and do some price shopping compared to the fresh roasted coffee beans I purchase at http://www.coffeebeandirect.com/

When the Federal corporate income tax rate is 39 percent, does that explain why many American companies want to move their corporate headquarters out of the USA? Indeed, when Neal Boortz and then-Rep. John Linder wrote the first FairTax book in 2005, they specifically cited corporations moving out of the USA due to legal income tax avoidance reasons.

8 O’clock coffee is consistently excellent across their entire line of whole bean and ground coffees.

When I used to do all the household grocery shopping, Coffee purchases were always made only when A&P had a sale (which I did not regularly shop at other than to browse their "past prime" produce... which my regular grocer did not have.)

A&P was good for having a buy one get one free sale on 8 O'clock Coffee, and I would often go on the second to last day of the sale and find the Dark Italian Roast inventory was nearly wiped out, but not completely.

Hello Rainchecks!

I would take whatever they had left on the shelf (these were the large bags) lock in the sale price on the BOGO sale with rainchecks... and when I would return have previous checkout coupons stacked up.

I wish I could remember the unit price I would be knocked down to... I don't believe 8 O'C sells the Whole Bean Dark Italian Roast in large bags anymore... There are no A&Ps near where I now live.

The Burger Kings near me are overpriced - and hang huge"We Accept EBT" signs.

I have not eaten there in years.

Tim Horton's is good stuff. Try their oatmeal with cinnamon or apple crisp topping.

MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm!
