They came to demand justice as the sun set over the Missouri suburb of Ferguson. Dawn and Chuck were white, like many of the other marchers parading up and down the town’s main strip, past looted, burnt-out shops and dozens of police officers.
What set them apart was their banner. “Justice for police officer Darren Wilson,” it read. They had come to demand justice not for Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager, but for the white cop who shot him dead. They barely escaped.
Within minutes of their arrival, a crowd had formed, shouting abuse. They were gone in seconds, bundled away to safety by police. “What is the police doing,” one woman screamed. “They aren’t arresting them. They’re helping them. Protecting their own.”
The brief episode on Wednesday night was a stark reminder of America’s trouble with race. Brown’s death two weeks ago has led to demonstrations by day and riots at night. It has highlighted the gulf between a community on the edge of St Louis and the men and women who police it.
Across the country, it has polarised opinion between those who see a nation where white cops kill black men, and those who have donated £100,000 to a fund for Officer Wilson, or lit their porches blue to show support for the police.
More than 50 years after Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech, and with an African-American president well into his second term, the violence demonstrates just how sensitive the issue remains.
Markese Mull, who described himself as a friend of Brown, believes the killing was about one thing. “It’s about race, much as we don’t want it to be,” he said, standing near the memorial of flowers, candles and balloons where the teenager died....

It's true that criminal blacks still have to answer for their felonies but that's being chipped away at.
BTW it is because a local talk show host was not black that got Rush Limbaugh his chance here in Sacramento.
The local liberals had tried to get rid of the local talk show host for months and the day he said Chinaman on air was exactly what they were looking for. He was fired. And Limbaugh began his talk show career at KFBK in 1983 (84?).
I've posted this before, but it doesn't hurt to repeat it, since it's being proven true on an almost-daily occurrence.
It has been my observation, both here and throughout the world, that when a minority finally gains power, rather than rolling up their sleeves and proving the bigots were wrong, they yell "IT'S PAYBACK TIME!" and spend their time blowing away all the good will their underdog struggle generated.
I'm not much of a JFK fan, but one comment he made always stuck in my mind: "If you spend all your time getting even, you'll never get ahead."
if anyone has doubts about the media promoting racial turmoil need only look at the front page of the Virginian Pilot today. With a large sketch of a black man tied to a stake and a white man with a cat of nine tails whipping him - a recaptured slave. Obviously the sketch and article about treatment and punishment of slaves published today so as to bring not harmony among races, but division and conflict. This the worst of the worst - sickening.
I hope the people of Norfolk will rise up en masse against the Virginian Pilot. They have done great harm to race relations in the Tidewater area of Virginia and nearby North Carolina. Shame of the publishers of that newspaper.

“Could you imagine if this happened to a Black couple in a white neighborhood? The Feds would come in, round up the crowd have a massive lawsuit for the violation of the constitutional right to protest. Would definitely be a “civil rights” violation.”
Yes, and the white students would be indoctrinated for decades going forward about black people are saintly victims and white people are devils (as they are today, but for an additional period each day - maybe replacing US history on their schedules).
I embrace these “picking the scab” sensationalist hate pieces; I don’t want anyone to pretend racial issues are resolved as long as affirmative action is legal. I believe the race agitators’ motives are as simple as protecting what they already have; they know there is nothing left to give, and nobody willing to give anyway.
Just keep yourself and loved ones safe in the meantime.

Until they get an alternative, they will always remain outside (and below) the American mainstream.
They need a black Rush Limbaugh.
They have a few that would make great REAL leaders, but the left has successfully marginalized them/refused to grant them access to wider audiences.
An informed black population would reduce the Dems to insignificance very quickly; by taking their thirty pieces of silver blacks have forged their own manacles.
It tells us that some black criminals think killing policemen is OK.
When you’re over the target the flaks the heaviest. We need to keep wedging in there. If we peel off 10-15% of black voters (not as a gross percentage of population, but likely voters) Democrats lose. That formula is worth all the trouble.
I agree, but the media will do everything to stop it from happening. When they run stories about how the Republicans can’t capitalize on the widespread misery for these upcoming mid-terms, they conveniently omit the fact that they themselves are the reason. They will never let people (especially blacks) see Republicans as a viable solution to our problems.
