Agreed, there was John Lennon, walking down the street, harming no one and this man just murdered him.

Why should Chapman, or anyone like him, be free?

I don’t care if you killed a famous person or not, just stay in prison.

Be a good person there, if you’ve reformed. If it’s one thing prison needs it’s more good people, so just do that.

Or not, I don’t care, but stay put.

John Lennon was my neighbor for several years - although I certainly didn’t live in the Dakota. He was very quiet - walked the streets completely alone and no one ever bothered him. He loved the anonymity of NYC. What a time in NYC! One day I’d pass by a Beatle, the next I’d pass by Garbo.
