Since Barack Obama was elected president, only 10 percent of Americans believe that race relations have gotten better, according to a New York Times/CBS Poll published today.
The poll found 17 percent of blacks and 8 percent of whites believe race relations have improved under Obama.
Thirty five percent of Americans believe that race relations have gotten worse in the Obama era -- including 40 percent of whites and 21 percent of blacks. Fifty-two percent of Americans polled said that race relations have stayed about the same.

Kind of a surprise since I don’t know anyone who believes that relations have improved. Most people I encounter believe that things are worse to much worse.

I’m still trying to find all this “racism” the left keeps talking about. Please give me one example. The only “racism” I’m seeing is phantom racism from the left, as if they think this guy Michael Brown was walking down the street when suddenly a cop car pulled up and the cops jumped out, shot him to death and high-fived each other. Do they honestly believe that?
That 10% doesn’t bother me - it’s the 51% who say race relations are the same tat scare the pants off me.
Sooooo true! And how long ago was that written, and it hits the nail right on the head today. Deceiving by creating acts of faux racism. What I’d like to know is where are these same rioters, looters, protesters, marchers, when a cop is killed because he waited to late to act like what happened in New Jersey last month........

I don’t think ANYONE thinks race relations are better under Obama. A better metric would be to compare race relations with Dubya in 2007 vs. Obama 20014. Obama is president from his destruction of race relations. The democrat party relies on pitting one ‘race’ against another to compete for handouts in their perverted Thunderdome. “One race enter, one race leaves!” Latino vs Black. Black Vs everyone. Rich Vs. Poor. If it wasn’t for hatred Liberals would be wandering Death Valley for 40 years without a trace of Burning Man.
Actually, they’re far, far worse - and will only go downhill from here.
Who are the 10%? The self-deluded. They believe that Obama is the One, who was going to bring racial healing to America. They still believe he’s the One, so that means he must’ve improved race relations, otherwise, he’s not the One. So, they ignore reality, delude themselves and live in their padded Obama World cell. There’s no hope for these people, even going through the concentration camps gates wouldn’t wake they up.
I have no doubt this true. Obama with little opposition, at least to this point, has brought race to the top. However it is a Hollywood and MSM fabrication along with government help that race relations have ever been good. That’s not to say there aren’t some genuine efforts from non whites but in general the proportion are highly lopsided, kinda like voting. One of the main reasons they were ever considered ‘good’ was under force of law and anti-white legislation along with mega doses of propaganda from all sides. That races in general but blacks in particular are working in good faith on so called race relations is not reality.
