Don Lemon reports that Wilson did go to the hospital with a swollen face, but x-rays came back negative on a broken or torn eye socket.

If he had enough facial trauma to have X-rays, then there was aggression against him. How would he know, at the time, if he had a fracture or not? Is there some set of rules that says, if you suffer a fracture- you can shoot?. I don't know what happened, but whether he did or did not have a fracture is not a proper determinant of the justification of his actions.

Main object here is to create a meme to try and un-thug Brown. Doesn’t have to be right, it is what the moonbats want to hear and they will quote it endlessly no matter what the final facts are.

Blowout fractures are typically not seen well on plain x-rays, but, rather on CT scan.
Dr. Lemmon probably wasn’t copied on the report.

the cop was attacked, and CNN is so dumb with their agenda they have basically admitted it with this report, and it doesn’t matter if the socket was broken.
The very fact he had to get xrays for it is enough to tell me the Docs were treating a serious injury.

CNN is trying to down play this , but in the meantime they have admitted he was attacked and the Docs were treating an injury serious enough to warrant x rays.
