A friend of mine did some Beta testing on this.

He said it had a completely familiar look and feel, with all the controls just where they should be, absolutely rock solid, and virtually crash proof. He said we really have to give Microsoft credit because this time they actually listened and delivered exactly what the users wanted.

The only odd thing was when he peeled back the Windows 9 sticker on the box, it said Windows XP underneath?

...if there is a God this the case. A while back, someone posted here that MS could achieve hero status if the next release were “XP” with “2015” tacked on at the end. Just bring ‘er back and everyone wins.
