I don't know if Kyle Williams is the actual cop killer. I wasn't present during the trial. I don't have any special local insider information. There is absolutely no doubt at all that one of the five black teenaged individuals involved in the confrontation in a park area with a local police officer, murdered Officer Crispin. They other four involved ran one way, he ran another.
The other four had bad local reputations and documented criminal histories, from what I understand.
I guess we find out tomorrow or the next day about the official jury verdict. The murder of Officer Crispin was committed in December of 2011.

Thanks for the reminder of why cops interact with suspects in the way that they do.

BTW-I have heard no indication that Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Crump,Jackson, CNN, MSNBC, any drive-by media or any element of the DNC is covering this case, at all.
Can somebody ping someone protesting injustice in Ferguson and ask them for their input here?

I don’t often post, but I am curious if any of you are familiar with this situation.

Just remember there are those here at FR that think the police deserve whatever they get because they are the bad guys

If convicted of first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, he faces the death penalty. Why should killing a cop be more heinous than killing a carpenter, or an ironworker, or electrician.
Sure there are inherent dangers in the job, but no one forced him(her) to take the job. How does that make them special? Inquiring minds want to know....
